What up? So as most of you already know I have been very active and VERY busy in Disc Golf these last couple of months. While I haven''t had much time to get online, I did want to post a little about my tour stops so far.

Well First off I was able to win Back 2 Back NT''s starting with the Brent Hambrick Memorial, the the very next weekend I won the First Class Challenge. The next stop on my road trip was Worlds... Kansas City was awesome, and the competition was fierce. I ended up finishing in 5th place tied to another great Oregon Golfer Nate Sexton.

The next stop on the National Tour was the Vibram Open. I took 6th in that outing. Back soon with more for everyone!

Thanks for stoppin by

First player to win all of the majors at least once.
I picked up my 1st disc golf disc in 1997 and went pro in 2000.

Home Course: Dexter DGC - Eugene, OR

Number of Aces:

Longest Measured Throw:

Goals:
Short Term - To not finish out of the top 10 at any tournament and to increase my focus and professionalism.
Long Term - Win World Championship or the US Open - and to increase my luck.

Memorable Win:
My most memorable win was the Augusta Classic Supertour (2002). The reason is because I had to make a clutch shot to beat the best player in the world (Ken Climo). It was a controlled anhyzer (which is not my strong point) with OB on both sides - I threw it within 4 feet of the basket to seal my second Supertour of the year.

Most memorable tournament:
My most memorable tournament was the 2002 Worlds in Miami. I played great for 9 rounds, I had all my disc golf buddies at the tournament, Avery and I finished 2nd in Doubles, we stayed with Larry Cruz who was a great host. Everybody was there and everything went well, so this is why I will never forget it. Second, Close runner-up was definitely the Japan Open 2002, what an experience.

My favorite events:
USDGC
World Championships
World Doubles Championships
Lumberjack Open - Kalamazoo, MI
Kansas City Wide Open
Japan Open - improve your skill with 150 class
Bob West Memorial

Advice:
Practice, practice, practice. It pays. Do things to increase your luck. Also, most of us started with INNOVA DX discs, because they beat up and they teach you angles from Hyzer to anhyzer to roller. Learn as many different shots as possible. Practice in an open field, not on the course. Once you learn something in the practice field, then try it on the course, and GOOD LUCK!

Additional advice:
If every one of you guys showed one woman how to play disc golf for every two guys you showed, there would be a much larger women''s division. Then it would just roll over and the sport wouldn''t be so one-sided.

•Alaska StateChampionships

I finally made it to alaska. Melody and i just got back from the Alaska State Championships in Anchorage, alaska. They say everything is bigger in texas, but i think they meant alaska. Our hosts were Jamie Adams and John Loritzen(two time and defending alaska state champion) they treated us great, just like one of there own family. The sun never really went down which really played tricks on my time management. I would be out practicing in the sunshine and check my phone and it would be like 1130 pm. It was tough to sleep.

The course was beautiful and tough. The views of cook inlet from many holes were epic and breathtaking. Talk about rough, alaska may have the worst i have ever seen. If you were off the fairway and did not see it land it was lost, and if you did see exactly were it landed it still took ten minutes to find your disc. I did see moose on the course but no bears, man moose are huge! I opened up the event with the course record 57 the first round and never looked back. I played well and won by 13 over Chandler Fry who is getting better all the time. The best alaskan finish was Chuck D., he will be heading to the usgdc representing alaska.

Melody played mens advanced since there are not any pro women in alaska yet. She played well scaring the advanced men taking third and showing those men that a women can take them down! Good job honey. Everyone in alaska was super cool and fun to hang with, for sure. I think the highlight of the trip was on monday when John L and Chuck D took us to Kenai on a fishing boat charter with captain dan. Dan took us out deep sea halibut fishing. Melody caught the biggest fish over 30 pounds. We caught over ten each! Our limit is only two each so we picked the biggest four and captain dan cleaned, vacuum sealed, packaged, and froze them.

We came home with 40 pounds of fresh halibut steaks we caught. We finished the trip by trolling for king salmon. No bites, just a couple of greenlings took our bait. The experience was awesome, thanks again captain dan you are a real pro. I hope they invite us back to alaska next year, because it is a blast. Only one state left to conquer (Hawaii). We are off to ohio to play in the jenkins family event. Hope to see u somewhere this summer
